We are currently looking for a Senior Category Manager with a background in ICT for a permanent role with a salary of £50,000.00 to £70,000.00 on offer. The ideal candidate will have experience of working in the UK Public Sector in either Central or Local Government. This role is flexible on location and will require you to work in a number of locations through the UK with a selection of clients you are assigned too. In order to be successful in this role you must have experience in the following:

  • Public Sector Procurement Experience - understanding of OJEU and PCR
  • Category Management - understanding and experience of developing, implementing and managing a Category Strategy ideally relating to ICT
  • End to End Procurement - experience of running a full OJEU Procurement Tendering exercise (creation of documentation through to evaluation and award)
  • Stakeholder Management - strong stakeholder engagement / relationship building with clients in the Public Sector and key ICT suppliers in the Private Sector

  • Comfortable of working independently and also as part of a small team
  • Flexible with working on client site (nationwide travel) and from home
  • Strong problem solving. attention to detail and analytical skills
  • Ideally educated to a degree level and MCIPS qualified or working towards
