We are currently supporting a Private Sector organisation, which provide services to the Public Sector, who are looking to recruit 2 x Procurement Consultant's for their growing team which provide Procurement Services to a range of Customers throughout the UK. These are permanent, Home Based (with travel throughout the UK), opportunities with a total combined package of up to £70,000.00 on offer (depending on experience and performance for bonus).
Reporting to the Director of Procurement Services this role will require you to develop deep customer relationships through the the provision of technical advice, solution design, consultancy support and procurement services. You will be required to develop new and grow/retain existing business opportunities with key accounts and manage multiple stakeholder relationships that help position our client as a ‘procurement partner’ of choice. The role will require you to develop bespoke commercial proposals and take the lead on service delivery and project management as and when required. This client facing role requires individuals with deep procurement / asset knowledge and strong commercial awareness, who can build trust-based relationships with senior level stakeholders and implement tailored procurement solutions within our social housing and wider public sector client base.
Candidates applying MUST HAVE the following experience:
- Strong understand and/or experience of running OJEU/PCR compliant Procurements in the Public Sector
- Understanding of the Housing industry and Housing Asset Management
- Experience of running Procurements and dealing with Stakeholders/Suppliers relating to Housing and/or Asset Managements
- Experience in developing new business would also be advantageous
