We are supporting a Private Sector organisation that provide services to the UK Public Sector, based in Greater Manchester, who are looking for a Interim Senior Category Manager with experience in IT and/or Digital Services. This is a 12 Month Fixed Term Contract opportunity with a total package of up to £60,000 on offer.
The successful candidate will be required to lead the IT & Digital Services function and to mentor, support and manage a small team of Buyers at various levels and manage a portfolio of projects. You will be required to work closely with key stakeholders to influence procurement decision making with an overall aim to drive down cost and achieve value for money for both our client and their customers.
Candidates applying MUST HAVE the following experience:
- MCIPS qualified or equivalent degree/qualifications
- Strong hands on end-to-end OJEU/PCR compliant Procurement experience
- Excellent Stakeholder and Supplier Relationship Management skills
- Experience in a similar role, ideally in the Public Sector, relating to IT and/or Digital Services is required
