We are currently recruiting for a Public Sector client who are looking for 3 experienced MOD or Central Government Interim Commercial Officers. These opportunities are a 1 year contract that are INSIDE IR35 with a maximum day rate of £415 on offer. The location of these roles can be based in either Hampshire, Salisbury or Sevenoaks (Kent). Candidates applying must hold or be willing to undergo SC Clearance in order to be successful.
The successful candidate will be required to provide procurement support to multiple areas of our clients business, whilst supporting the development of effective contractual relationships with external suppliers. The successful candidate will be required to pace Research contracts for our client in line with their commercial policies. Requirements supported will be varied and require an understanding of MOD procurement policies to ensure a fair and compliant process is consistently followed.
Candidates applying MUST HAVE the following experience:
- MCIPS qualified or equivalent experience/qualifications
- Experience of working with the MOD or in Central Government
- Contracting/Procuring in the Defence and Security Environment would be advantageous
- Working knowledge of DSPCR, PCR and/or OJEU
- Experience of delivery effective Supply Chain Management
- Strong Stakeholder Management skills
